1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that can retain a preference on your device. These technologies can remember settings and support website functionality.

2. Technologies currently used

The website currently uses only first-party preference storage.

• i18n_redirected: a first-party language preference cookie used to remember the selected website language. It is normally a session cookie and is removed when the browser session ends, subject to browser settings.
• nuxt-color-mode: a local-storage value used to remember light, dark or system colour theme. It remains until you change it or clear website data in your browser.
• Hosting and security systems may generate technical server logs. Logs are not cookies and are described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Why we use them

Preference storage lets the website keep the language and visual theme you selected. It is not used to create advertising profiles or follow you across unrelated websites.

4. Analytics and third parties

The website uses first-party aggregated server-side page-view statistics. The analytics request sends the path of the opened public page but does not create or read analytics cookies or local storage. The server stores only combined counters by hourly time bucket, page, language and approximate country code; IP addresses, visitor identifiers and individual events are not stored in the analytics table.

No third-party analytics, advertising or social-media tracking is currently enabled, so a separate consent banner is not used for these statistics. If optional browser or third-party technologies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be introduced before activation where legally required.

5. Managing browser storage

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting website data may reset your selected language or colour theme. Browser help pages explain how to manage storage for individual websites.
