Legal
Terms of Sale
This document outlines the core commercial terms for catalog browsing, checkout, delivery, and pickup in the storefront.
Last updated: March 28, 2026
Important before production
This is a working draft. Before production, add the real legal entity details, governing law, return rules, delivery timelines, and mandatory consumer disclosures for the relevant jurisdiction.
Scope
These terms apply to orders placed through the storefront and related customer account flows.
- Catalog, prices, and availability are shown using the current data available in the system.
- The customer must review the order contents, delivery method, and contact details before confirming the order.
Order placement
An order is considered placed when it is confirmed on the checkout page. At that point, stock is reserved and the order enters processing.
- Order confirmation does not automatically mean that payment has been processed if payment integration is not yet connected.
- Store pickup may require selecting one or more stores depending on actual stock availability.
Price and taxes
Storefront prices are shown as the final customer-facing price unless stated otherwise. If VAT is included, that should be stated clearly at checkout.
- Item prices and order totals are calculated from the catalog data available at the time of checkout.
- If delivery fees or special payment conditions apply, they should be shown before the order is confirmed.
Delivery and pickup
The customer may choose courier delivery or store pickup where those fulfilment options are available for the cart contents.
- For courier delivery, the customer is responsible for providing a correct destination address.
- For store pickup, the customer is responsible for collecting the order from the selected location after it is ready.
Cancellation, returns, and claims
The exact return windows and rules should be finalized in the production version according to applicable consumer law and the merchant's internal business policy.
- If an order is cancelled before completion, the stock reservation should be released.
- If goods have already been shipped or collected, the case moves to a dedicated returns flow.
Limitations and draft notice
The storefront should contain only commitments the business is prepared to honor. Until legal review is complete, this page should be treated as a working template rather than final binding sale terms.
Seller details
Before production, this page should identify the real seller legal entity, registration details, business address, contact channels, and governing law/jurisdiction.
